Google Gadget HTML Tool

My first Google Gadget! Not yet finished, but you can see some features. Try to play with it!

You can read documentation on assembla, browser the source, or add to your webpage or to Add to Google (iGoogle). Here is the link to the released XML, if you need it.

I will keep adding new tools that I might use or you can ask me to add something you need. If I just copy and paste other code, there may have many features available. But I am not going to do that.

If you have any suggestions, leave a message here or post to forum.

Converting RAW images to JPEG with Exif on Fedora

I have a Canon 350D camera, used to use raw format to save photos and use Canon DPP software to convert photos to jpeg format. Picasa2 is my favorite photo organizer because it can directly show raw photos but it can’t export jpeg format with Exif, such camera model, len information, etc. So I used Canon DPP to do the job on Windows. On Fedora, we don’t have Canon DPP. Although OS X has DPP, but no Picasa2. I wrote a simple script, it uses dcraw, cjpeg and exiv2 to do the conversion job.
