“Every 14 seconds, a child is orphaned by AIDS.” — World Vision
Many people are living with it. More people had died of it. More and more children have no choice but to be with it or to live alone because of it.
About this Countdown Widget
I hope this widget can help raising the awareness of AIDS pandemic. I had helped an organization translating few pages about HIV, AIDS and relating issues. I know how bad the situation we have, but we are too easy to ignore things if they are not directly related to us.
It is an 160×100 pixels widget. It uses jQuery and LLBB Incomplete JavaScript Library as Libraries. It will bring visitors to World AIDS Day page at World Vision. Why that page? Because I trust World Vision.
